Now that you've posted these orthographics, it seems as though he's about to fall over. Maybe lean him backwards from his ankle pivot?
Also, the water one does't yet read as water to me.. we will probably want effects and such to contribute, but I wonder if there's anything you could add to him that would make him more water-like?
